Cancellation & Refund
The cancellation and refund policy of the winter school is as follows:
The program fees paid are fully refundable when the program is cancelled by the Sommerhochschule or when an applicant has been denied admission to the program. In all other cases € 300 of the program fee are non-refundable.
Cancellations received on or by November 30 will be entitled to a refund minus € 300.
Cancellations received between December 1 and December 31, will entitle to a refund of 75 % of the winter school fee.
Cancellations received between January 1 and January 15, will entitle to a refund of 50 % of the winter school fee.
Cancellations received between January 16 and one day before the start of the program, will entitle to a refund of 25 % of the winter school fee.
For cancellations received after the program has begun no refund can be made.
All cancellations must be received in writing.
The Austrian student union fee (€ 24.70) is not refundable, if the data of the participant was already submitted to the Austrian student union (ÖH).
The cancellation and refund policy for scholarship applications is as follows:
Scholarship students have to pay a deposit of € 300 when submitting their application. The deposit will be refunded after successful completion of the program.
The deposit is fully refundable when the program is cancelled by the Sommerhochschule, when the applicant has been denied admission to the program, or when the applicant cancelled his/her/their application within two weeks after receiving the acceptance email.<br/> In all other cases the deposit will not be returned.
All cancellations must be received in writing.
